Crimson Evening Solitude was recorded in a 70' empty water cistern called The Tank in Rangely, CO. This deeply emotional and moving composition was recorded on a High Spirits Native American-style drone flute (or double flute), and reflects the inspiration drawn by the colorful crimson sunsets in areas of the southwest such as Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Vermillion Cliffs Monument, Bryce & Zion Canyons.
